About KAMUN

KAMUN began as a student-led initiative at King's Academy to bring students together through diplomacy, debate, and global issues. Since its early conferences in 2009, KAMUN has continued to grow, welcoming students from Jordan and around the world. Over the years, it has become a space where students can develop their confidence, leadership, and understanding of international affairs while connecting with people from different backgrounds.

"Fracture the Foundation" urges us to observe the systems that hold our world together and the cracks that form within them. From international institutions and political systems to economies and alliances, lots of these foundations are being tested. This theme inspires delegates to look further than just the problems themselves, but to understand what is causing these fractures, and work with one another to find ways forward. These cracks are not the end; they are our opportunity to build new foundations that are stronger, fairer, and built to last.
